Clyde Klump grew up in Perryville, Missouri, and moved to St. Louis in his twenties. He became an insurance agent in 1959. He married his wife, Carol, in 1960. Then, in 1962, he started his business as an independent insurance agent/broker. He then moved the business to its current location in Maryland Heights in 1964. Jackie Klump is the youngest of Clyde and Carol’s nine children. She has worked for the agency since 1996, and became an agent/broker in 1998. Upon graduating from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1999, she began her full-time career with the company. She has directed the agency since that time, and now serves as the company president and principal owner. The Clyde P. Klump Agency, Inc. continues as a reliable, established insurance business. We look forward to serving the personal insurance needs of those in the St. Louis and surrounding areas for many years to come.
